Getting it Right

Incorrect information hurts your credibility, as well as your team’s, with both prospects and current team members.
Presenting incorrect information is in violation of our business policies and can also be damaging to ACN’s overall business opportunity. Ultimately, incorrect information negatively impacts all of our businesses. We all want the ACN Opportunity to be presented honestly and effectively, so please take a moment to read the following frequently asked questions and help us to ensure everyone is Getting it Right!

What does the $499 start-up cost cover?

The $499 cost helps ACN to recover the costs associated with establishing and servicing a representative’s business inside of ACN. The same is true for the ACN annual renewal fee. The $499 is not an investment. Any reference to the ACN Opportunity as an investment opportunity is incorrect and such language could get you into trouble with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC). For every new ACN Independent Representative, ACN establishes an internal ACN account within our Representative, Provisioning, Billing, Commissioning and Customer Care systems. Additionally, ACN staffs several dedicated teams of individuals focused on supporting and delivering service to ACN’s Independent Representatives and their Customers. This complete back-end support frees ACN’s Independent Representatives to focus on their business. Specifically, the ACN $499 cost to become a Team Trainer Fee and ongoing renewal fees help to recover costs incurred by ACN to provide:

ACN Field Support Services – This dedicated team provides live, Field Support Services in

English, Spanish and French. They provide accurate information pertaining to products,

processes and policies for ACN’s Independent Representatives personal distributorships.

They also train on how to access resources essential to supporting distributorships.

ACN Operations – This team of dedicated individuals performs all order provisioning and

customer account activation processes from the time a signed LOA is received until the

customer’s service is active.

ACN Credit and Collections – This team is committed to ensuring that customers you signup

are credit worthy. They also help collect payments from customers who do not or cannot

pay their ACN invoice.

ACN Customer Service – Specially trained agents make up this team and together they

provide 24-hour complete customer support in multiple different languages.

ACN Product Development – This team is devoted to the research, development and

implementation of new products and services, new or revised pricing and ongoing product

features and enhancements.

ACN Commissioning System – ACN establishes unique system accounts for each ACN

Independent Representative. Specific online tracking and detailed reports provide downline,

customer and convention acquisition, service, usage and commissioning performance and

activity.

ACN Public and Private Web Sites – ACN’s public website profiles ACN’s business

opportunity and product availability and is leveraged by ACN Independent Representatives

for ongoing marketing efforts. MyACN, the private website for ACN Independent

Representatives, is updated daily with training, product, distributorship and support

information. In addition, as part of ACN’s commitment to seek out innovative, new ways to

help you run your business more effectively, this site also includes an online renewal process

and online order repair, as well as tools for monitoring and tracking your customers and

downline.

ACN Marketing – This team creates innovative and professional sales and recruiting tools.

They are responsible for ACN’s large inventory of sales and distributorship marketing

materials. Through this department, ACN’s Customer Marketing Programs such as Referral,

Upsell and Winback pieces deliver new customers into existing ACN Independent

Representatives’ personal customer base, independent of their own efforts. ACN

Independent Representatives receive residual compensation benefits from these customers.

• Weekly and Monthly Conference Calls – ACN paid and sponsored conference calls are

held to discuss and train on all aspects of ACN’s business including products, representative

distributorship, business processes and ACN policies and procedures.

What is the correct company name and how am I able to use it?

The company is now ACN, not American Communications Network. We are proud of our heritage, yet we

are even more excited about our future. And our future globally is as ACN! It’s important to note that ACN

is also a legal entity, and the name ACN is a protected trademark of the company. Independent

Representatives are not allowed to use the name ACN when dealing with hotel contracts or any other

type of contract or business venture. ACN Independent Representatives should be using their own “DBA”

or their personal name. Additionally, all marketing materials and signage using the name ACN, not

developed by the company, must be reviewed and approved by ACN’s Marketing Department before

being used.

Am I allowed to duplicate ACN Independent Representative Agreements?

Yes. It is very important that you copy both the front and back page of the agreement when you duplicate

the ACN Independent Representative Agreement. If you print it from MyACN, it will automatically print

both pages for you. Both pages must be presented to every ACN Independent Representative you enroll

and you need to make sure they read and understand the terms and conditions of the agreement before

they sign it.

Can I fill out an Electronic Representative Agreement online for my new recruits?

No. Only the enrolling ACN Independent Representative is allowed to complete an Electronic ACN

Representative Agreement, not the sponsoring representative. This is a legal requirement to ensure they

read and understand the terms and conditions of the agreement before completing it with an electronic

signature.

If I recruit a new Team Trainer into the business, how much money will I and my upline get?

$0.00. No compensation is paid until customers are acquired. ACN’s Compensation Plan by design only

provides compensation when customers are acquired and when those customers pay ACN for their

usage of ACN Services. By using the question above in your explanation of the ACN Compensation Plan,

you properly put the emphasis on the fact that our compensation plan does not pay out any bonuses

unless customers are acquired. ACN’s Compensation Plan is a perfectly balanced compensation plan. By

paying out the up-front Customer Acquisition Bonuses (CABs) for the acquisition of customers, by design,

it automatically fuels the back-end residual compensation that delivers long-term success. The bottom

line is: not a dime is paid until customers are acquired.

How do I earn passive residual income?

You do not earn passive residual income with ACN. It is important to be clear that residual commissions

are paid monthly based on customers’ billings for their usage of ACN’s services. ACN’s commissions

should never be misrepresented as “passive residual income.” They are anything but passive and

compensate representatives for the retention of billing customers.

What is ACN’s policy on making earnings claims?

ACN’s Compensation Plan is unparalleled – providing immediate and long-term income potential with no

limits. However, no compensation is paid until customers are acquired. ACN strictly prohibits ACN

Independent Representatives from making any claims or guarantees related to earnings/income, whether

express or implied. Success as an ACN representative is not guaranteed, but rather influenced by an

individual’s specific efforts. Not all representatives will make money in this company.

What is slamming and how can it affect my business?

Slamming is any practice that changes a customer’s local, long distance, gas or electric service without

the customer’s knowledge or consent. Slamming can also occur when someone other than the customer

who is listed on the LOA or Energy Enrollment Form signs the form. Therefore, ACN requires that every

LOA and Energy Enrollment Form include an original customer signature. The telecommunications

industry’s regulatory agencies treat slamming as a serious allegation with serious consequences and

have the authority to heavily fine and/or revoke a carrier’s certificate to do business if slamming occurs.

These consequences affect the opportunity for all representatives, not just those who slam customers

and therefore clearly illustrates why ACN HAS ADOPTED A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY AGAINST

SLAMMING!

If it is determined that an ACN Independent Representative engaged in the slamming of a customer, the

following penalties will be assessed without exception:

• The Independent Representative's position will be permanently terminated and all CABs,

commissions and payouts of any kind will be permanently forfeited.

• If the "slammed" account was used for qualifications, any CAB payments made as a result will be

reversed. This reversal will also apply to any corresponding upline CABs as well.

• Any Independent Representative engaged in slamming will be required to reimburse ACN for any

fines or charges assessed against ACN.

As an ACN Independent Representative, you are responsible for each and every customer that appears

on your Personal Customer List. Therefore, representatives are encouraged to routinely review their

customer lists to ensure that only customers that they have personally enrolled appear on their customer

list.

What role do the three former attorneys general play at ACN?

integrity, ACN has employed a Legal Advisory Counsel comprised of three former state attorneys general
